Plans have been concluded for the debut edition of the Next Rated reality television.
The Project Coordinator of the TV show, Emmanuel Enero, in a statement, said the aim of the show was to create opportunities for emerging young talents in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
He stated that 24 contestants would be selected from four different regions that include Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Owerri, and other African countries.
Enero said: “Only one winner will emerge, and this winner must be talented. The 24 contestants will be camped in a house for a period of 6 weeks, they will undergo series of tasks in the various entertainment categories, their intellectual and physical strength will be checked, behavioral attitudes will also be checked through their relationship with other housemates, and their tolerance for each other. We expect the atmosphere to be a bit tensed especially in the group tasks.”
